December at Twin Hills

Happy Holidays!!!

The holidays are here!!!  Don’t you just love this time of year, decorating the tree, holiday parties, shopping to do, presents to wrap and most importantly; spending time with family and friends?  It’s the best time of year!

The Staff of Twin Hills would like to take this opportunity to thank each and every member who contributed to the employee Christmas fund this year.  Your kindness and generosity is greatly appreciated and we wish you and your family a very safe and happy holiday.  Thank you again for your heartfelt gift.

The Board of Directors has approved the nominating committee’s candidates for the 2016 board.  A list of candidates is posted on the bulletin boards on the lower level of the Clubhouse.  You should receive your proxies in the mail in the next week or so, if you haven’t already.  Please return your proxy prior to the Annual Stockholders’ meeting to ensure a quorum.  The Annual Stockholders’ meeting is scheduled for Tuesday evening, January 26th.  Registration for the meeting will begin at 5:30pm with the meeting commencing at 6:00pm.  A dinner buffet will be served following the meeting.

Thank you to all of our members and their guests who joined us for Thanksgiving Day Brunch.  We hope you had a good time with your family and friends.  We have already had lots of compliments on the buffet.  Although it was quite rainy, we still had a great turnout.  Thank you also to our great kitchen staff for all of their efforts, as well as our terrific wait staff for helping to make this day so special.

Make plans now to join us for our Children’s Christmas Brunch which is scheduled for Sunday, December 6th from 11:00am until 2:00pm.  Santa will be here to wish every one a Merry Christmas and he’ll have goodies for all the children.  Don’t forget to bring your cameras and please remember that a reservation is greatly appreciated and very helpful.  Call and make yours today!!!

Jerry Broughton, our course Superintendent, and his crew are now busy preparing the course for winter.  We thank you for your patience, understanding and support of his efforts to provide the best possible playing conditions for you and your guests.  We are still asking all of our golf members to help out by repairing ball marks and a divot or two while you are on the course.  A little help goes a long way and is greatly appreciated.  Thanks again!

The North Porch Dining Room will be closed on Christmas Eve, December 24th and New Year’s Eve, December 31st and all facilities will close at 3:00pm on those days.  Lunch will be available in the Grille on the lower level of the Clubhouse on both of those days.  As always, Twin Hills will be closed on Christmas Day and New Year’s Day.
