December at Twin Hills
They’re here! You can almost smell it in the air. Don’t you love this time of year with all the holiday parties, shopping to get done, presents to wrap and most importantly, spending time with your family and friends. It’s the best time of the year!
The Staff of Twin Hills would like to take this opportunity to thank each and every member who contributed to the employee Christmas fund. Your kindness and generosity is greatly appreciated and we wish you and your families a very safe and happy holiday. Thank you again for your heartfelt gift.
The Board of Directors has approved the nominating committee’s candidates for the 2014 board. A list of candidates is posted on the bulletin boards on the lower level of the Clubhouse. You should receive your proxies in the mail in the next few weeks. Please return your proxies prior to the Annual Stockholders’ meeting to ensure a quorum. The Annual Stockholders’ meeting is scheduled for Tuesday evening, January 28th. Registration for the meeting will begin at 5:30pm with the meeting commencing at 6:00pm. A dinner buffet will be served following the meeting.
Thank you to all of our members and their guests who joined us for Thanksgiving Day Brunch. We hope you had a great time. The weather was pretty nice and the food was not only awesome but the display and presentation was absolutely beautiful. Thank you also to our Chef, Keith Patterson, and his staff for the buffet and to the rest of the staff as well for all of their efforts in making this day so special.
Our Children’s Christmas Brunch is scheduled for Sunday, December 8th from 11:00am until 2:00pm. Santa will be here to wish every one a Merry Christmas and will have a bag of goodies for all the children. Don’t forget to bring your cameras and please remember that a reservation is greatly appreciated and very helpful. Call and make yours today!
Jerry Broughton, our course Superintendent, and his crew are now busy preparing the course for winter. This includes trimming trees, removing the dead ones, grinding the stumps and the never ending process of cleaning up the leaves. They all deserve a big pat on the back for braving the cold weather every day and their efforts in keeping the course in such great shape. However they could still use your help. While you are out playing, if you could repair a ball mark and/or divot or two, we would certainly appreciate it. We thank you for your help and continued support.
