December at Twin Hills

Good Morning and Seasons Greetings!!!

The holidays are here!  Don’t you just love this time of year, decorating the tree, holiday parties, shopping to do, presents to wrap and most importantly, spending time with your family and friends?  It’s the best time of the year!!

The Staff of Twin Hills would like to take this opportunity to thank each and every member who contributed to the employee Christmas fund this year.  Your kindness and generosity is greatly appreciated and we wish you and your family a very safe and happy holiday.  Thank you again for your heartfelt gift.

The Board of Directors has approved the nominating committee’s candidates for the 2015 board.  A list of candidates is posted on the bulletin boards on the lower level of the Clubhouse.  You should receive your proxies in the mail in the next week or so.  Please return your proxies prior to the Annual Stockholders meeting to ensure a quorum.  The Annual Stockholders meeting is scheduled for Tuesday evening, January 27th.  Registration for the meeting will begin at 5:30pm with the meeting commencing at 6:00pm.  A dinner buffet will be served following the meeting.

Thank you to all of our members and their guests who joined us for Thanksgiving Day Brunch.  We hope you had a great time.  We had lots of compliments on the buffet and it was a chilly, but beautiful day.  Thank you also to our great kitchen staff for all of their efforts, as well as, our terrific wait staff for helping to make this day so special.

Our Children’s Christmas Brunch is scheduled for Sunday, December 7th from 11:00am until 2:00pm.  Santa will be here to wish every one a Merry Christmas and he’ll have goodies for all the children.  Don’t forget your cameras and please remember that a reservation is greatly appreciated and very helpful.  Call and make yours today!

Jerry Broughton, our course Superintendent, and his crew are now busy preparing the course for winter.  This includes trimming trees, removing dead ones, grinding the stumps and the never ending process of cleaning up the leaves.  They all deserve a big pat on the back for their efforts in keeping the course in such great shape.  As always, we ask for your help as well repairing ball marks and divots.  We have a great course and with everyone pitching in, it will help keep it that way.  Please remember that if at any time you have questions or concerns, Jerry will be happy to answer or discuss them with you.  Thank you for your help and continued support.

PLEASE NOTE:  All facilities will close at 3:00pm on Christmas Eve and New Year’s Eve and all facilities will be closed on Christmas Day and New Year’s Day.
