Hey it looks like things are starting to go our way and spring is finally here. With the exception of a few more chilly days we are looking forward to getting back to warmer weather and playing some golf.
Administrative Professionals Day is Wednesday, April 23rd. This would be a great time to bring them out for lunch to show them how much you appreciate all they do for you. Call and make a reservation today!
The Ladies Spring Clinic is Wednesday and Thursday, April 16th and 17th. The first Couples Twilight Golf and dinner for the year is Thursday, April 24th and the Men’s Spring Shamble is Saturday, April 26th. For more information on these events or to sign up to play, call the Pro Shop at 427-3947.
Reservations for Easter Sunday Brunch and the Children’s Easter Egg Hunt, April 20th, have already started coming in. However, we still have plenty of room for more. Call the Clubhouse today to make your reservation and beat the rush. Brunch will be available from 11:00am until 2:00pm and the Easter Egg Hunt will be at 12:00pm. Don’t be late as it doesn’t take very long to find all the eggs and we don’t want anyone to miss out on this really fun event. The Easter Bunny will be here with treats for your little ones and to pose for pictures with them. We’ll also have the India Shrine Clowns here to help entertain the kiddos so don’t forget your cameras and Easter baskets for the egg hunt. This is a really popular event here and a reservation is highly recommended and as always, greatly appreciated. Call soon!!
Want to spend a Friday night out, without the children or grand children? Well come out Friday evening, April 25th from 7:00pm until 10:00pm (weather permitting) for a fun night around the pool. This will be a great time to get acquainted with some of our new members as well as some of your old friends. There will be a $10.00 per person cover which will include complimentary hors d’oeuvres and the band. Bar service will also be available at regular member prices. We hope everyone will take advantage of this relaxing evening here at the club.
Jerry Broughton, our course Superintendent, and his crew are continuing the process of preparing the course for spring. As you may have noticed, they have already completed the aerification process and are continuing with their regular maintenance of the golf course. We have contracted with an outside firm to complete construction on the tee boxes that were not completed last year. We apologize for the inconvenience but be rest assured you will be happy with the results. We thank you for your understanding support.
