January at Twin Hills

HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!

The winter chill is here and so far, and a big plus, is that we haven’t gotten any snow or ice yet to go with it.  We hope everyone had a good Christmas and that 2015 will be a great year for all of us.

The staff of Twin Hills would like to once again take this opportunity to thank each and every member who contributed to the employee Christmas fund.  It is your kindness and generosity that makes our jobs so easy and worthwhile.  Thank you again so much for your gift.

We would also like to thank all of our members who hosted their holiday lunches, dinners and parties here at the club.  We are happy to say we were very fortunate that nothing had to be rescheduled or postponed due to bad weather.  Thank you again for your support of the club.  We appreciate you!

Our Children’s Christmas Brunch with Santa was Sunday, December 8th.  We had another exceptional turnout and the weather wasn’t that bad.  Santa was here to wish everyone a safe and happy holiday and gave goodie bags to the little ones and even some of the bigger ones.  Thank you to all of our members and their guests who attended.  It was a fantastic day!

ATTENTION MEMBERS!
The Annual Stockholders’ Meeting is scheduled for Tuesday evening, January 27th.  You should have already received your proxy in the mail, so please make sure to return it prior to the meeting to ensure a quorum.  Registration for the meeting will begin at 5:30pm with the meeting commencing at 6:00pm.  A dinner buffet will be available immediately following the meeting.

Jerry Broughton, our course Superintendent, and his crew are still busy preparing the course for winter.  They all deserve a big pat on the back for braving the cold weather every day in their efforts to keep the course in such great shape.  As always, we ask for your help as well repairing ball marks and divots.  We have such a great course and with everyone pitching in, it will help keep it that way.  Please remember that if at any time you have questions or concerns, Jerry will be happy to answer or discuss them with you.  Thank you for your help and continued support.

PLEASE NOTE:  All facilities will be closed on New Year’s Day.  Also, there will be no lunch buffet on the North Porch on Friday, January 2nd.  The Grille (located on the lower level of the Clubhouse), however, will be open all day for your convenience.

Do you need to plan a party, lunch or dinner, wedding and/or reception, social event, business meeting or shower?  We can help, just call Sherri Mann, Event Coordinator, for more information and/or to book a date.

If you know of anyone interested in becoming a member, please contact Paul Hughes, our General Manager, for more information.

Wishing you all the best in 2015 and always!
